Plugin for Tape Stop effects

Post by neonmansion » Tue May 28, 2013 8:20 pm

Does anyone have any info on tape stop effect plugins. I used to use effectrix for this because among its many effects was a tapestop effect that you could change how long it took to drop. Now i'm using ableton 9 and I guess it wasn't 64 bit because it doesn't show up.

Are there any free plugins that do this?

Glitch is good for that, but it has a pretty distinct sound

what about just a simple delay plugin and you make the delay time go from really short to really long in a quick time? (wet signal only)

I used to use NI Traktor for these kinds of sounds.

Isn't one of the max for live effects you can get free with ableton 9 a tapestop effect plug in?

Haven't bothered trying it as I haven't needed it yet so don't know how good it is. Just saw it in there.
