Does anyone here make bass music (loosely speaking)?
Because a friend and I have a new(ish) label looking for submissions.
Broadly speaking, we want "bass music". Anything along the lines of the tracks made by Breach, Midland, Joy Orbison, Boddika, Zed Bias, Paleman, Dusky, Justin Martyn, Eats Everything, Mak & Pasteman, Goldffinch and many more. Slightly different styles that all fall into the 120-130bpm tempo range. Ah... you know the stuff.
For an idea of the sounds we're after check any of my "Electronic Music" series of mixes here - https://soundcloud.com/mrphlyte
Sorry for the slight spam. Didn't really know anywhere else I could ask - feel free to suggest places.
FWIW we've already put out some Future Jungle type releases, on USB stick and USB wristband. We're doing kind of relaunch with some other styles though.
Lemme know if you're interested.

What about treble music? Mid range music? I'm pretty flexible.

Most of us don't even make music. I just burp into a mic and call it trap-step-core.

If you can stretch that shit out to about 5 minutes I might be interested.

This is a fucked up way of thinking for a musician. Yeah, you need to be creative... But if you can't make music you love or atleast be inspired by the artists you love?? I think I have to quit music, damn.skimpi wrote:isnt there enough of what you are after around at the moment? you have a prettty big list of artists there, maybe they have it covered
Not taking anything away from the fact that there's really shitty, unoriginal music is being made in those genres!
