Living in a different decade

Post by EliteLennon117 » Tue Jun 25, 2013 12:10 pm

If you could live in any other decade what would it be? Explain. ie. the 20's, 60's, etc.

Same here. maybe slightly earlier to experience the birth of rave from the late 80's.

Yeah, born in 1970 would be about perfect for me. But then i'd have been too old for Dubstep... -q-

the 1810s, out ahead of the trample of bush & pristine habitats
to experience flocks of birds that would darken the sky and deafen you with their varied calls,
intact wildflowerings you could smell 20km out to sea,
pellucid riverwater through which you could see the bottom 20 feet down
and intact aboriginal communities, disease & flea free.

Would be difficult to go back even to the 90s now, imagine having to go back to using nokias the size of bricks again...

If I were to live in a different time I would do it right and just go to dinosaurian or pre-dinosaurian times and check nature out OR just just far into the future. See what type of crazy shit we're upto.

I really don't think it matters a whole lot what decade you're in. They all have their drawbacks and cool stuff. I like living now because there's all the cool music from the past and present.

THO, I prefer the balance between society and technology from when I was 15/16, say 2004 and shit. Probs because that's when I started to be apart of society and I don't know any better

I'd pick the 20's for the phat raves and jazz music.

A polite "fuck off" here from someone born in 1972. 8)

PS: Anyone nostalgic for the 80's has been duped into thinking they were cool. They were not. It sucked pretty bad compared to the 70's and 90's, in fact.
