ScanOne has 2 killer tracks on the way... called 'dubwise' and dark dub'.

Still in the works, but you can hear a taster on his myspace:

been rinsing them on the weekly radio show.. had a nice response.

Blackmass Plastics has loads of dark, techy half-step tracks on the way too.... sound samples closer to release date...

i really hope not too many dnb people switch to doing dubstep, it's really not where i want the sound to go at all

Thing is, DMZ, Fwd>> crew etc are so focused on their vision of the sound that if all these dnb people do start making mid-rangey noisey blast music, I don't think it'll get absorbed into the scene in any major way.

Unless the scene splits and fragments like it has in drum and bass - that's probably inevitable eventually.

haha!

believe, Tech Itch was not not making any mid level droney shiz.....this had depth, emotion, and BASS...lots of it too, in no way a clone of anything...

absolutely stunning, and it was on the Dissident rig too (albeit a small portion of it!)

there are going to be camps in every kind of underground music. look at how grime splintered off. it's bound to happen. everyone wants a piece of the pie, but the pie is tiny. in 1996 there was jungle and jungle only. now it's easily a dozen different camps, all giving up certain flavors.
