Kilasic - Streamline (Needs feedback please)
Hi, I'm new to the forums and was wondering if i could get feedback on my newest release. I worked my butt off on this song and would really appreciate it. Thanks, peace!

This actually reminds me of my older stuff heaps. First off, try mono-ising the bottom 200ish hz of the snare, it's kinda annoying having the punch of the snare in stereo. It's especially noticeable after the first drop. Try using a stereo shaper on some of the drop synths to widen them up a bit. The melodies are nice, everything's fine in that area. Drums seem very bland to me, probably could whack in some more percussion/cymbals, and some tom fills would be nice.
There's a few more things I would have done differently but I don't wanna over complicate it for ya.

I like the intro. Then when the drop kicks in all the sounds, sound really generic and preset like in character. Plus when the drop kicks in you have mixed the basses and leads way to high (especially the Yoi), which drown the drums out. You need to work on the mix.

Thank you for the feedback, I tried what you suggested and got some decent results. ^_^Sure_Fire wrote:This actually reminds me of my older stuff heaps. Agree 100% plus, the drop was too short and had a longer outrokilasic wrote:Thank you for the feedback, I tried what you suggested and got some decent results. ^_^Sure_Fire wrote:This actually reminds me of my older stuff heaps.
