Four tet

Post by societyloser1 » Tue Jul 23, 2013 10:29 pm

New album. Siked
no pre order, no youtube trailers, no itunes stream, no spotify, no amazon deal, no charts, no bit coin deal, no last minute rick rubin.

Still one of my favourite producers, love everything from this guy... He's a true talent and an amazing man!

Remember when he dropped this on soundcloud... Still one of my favorite tunes ever made :santasmurf:

I'm more psyched about the Omar Souleyman album he's producing tbh!

same, i like some fourtet, and his dj sets can be good, but on the whole he just sounds like that jingly jangly background music you'd hear whilst queing to buy a falafel at a festival, definitely up there with mr.scruff and bonobo

but this album for omar should be fun

Meh, didn't really rate that Kool FM track but I wouldn't go so far to call it awful. It's just a bit bland and nothing-ey. I LOOOOOOVE his DJ sets. His FabricLive mix is among my essential albums of all time.

Yeah I used to really rate his stuff but never really listen anymore. The stuff he did with Burial (except for Moth) I find to be pretty forgettable. Especially Nova.

Love his FabricLive CD though and I his live sets are dope. Will probably give his new album a listen anyway.

seen him live for the first time on the weekend and he blew me away. he really is a great club dj, maybe my favourite, even though i don't even listen to his music that much anymore. it's funny how people's selections are mostly so different to their productions.

Never really considered his stuff to be what you'd call house music tbh. Wrong forum perhaps?
