[VIDEO] Lindstrøm In The Studio With Future Music

Post by wub » Tue Aug 06, 2013 9:08 am

Norwegian space-disco stalwart Lindstrøm has allowed Future Music's cameras a chance to film inside his studio in Oslo as he breaks down a couple of his cosmic dancefloor productions. The producer largely discusses how he learned to work with Logic while writing "Ęg-gęd-ōsis" and "Quiet Place to Live," but also goes on to talk about some of his favorite plugins, his mixing process, and how he tends to do work with the software his "own way," as opposed to learning the "right way." It's undoubtedly an interesting clip for any Lindstrøm fan, though any new Logic users while likely find plenty to learn in the 30-plus-minute video as well.

Not at all, can't be expected to know every artist everywhere :)

I recommend checking some of his stuff out. It's got a space-disco vibe to it, if that helps

not bad but i got to admit its not too informative. he just walks you through some of the sounds and explains it like..."umm yeah this is a sound i think i just found and played it like this...or whatever." it seems like he hadnt looked at these tracks in years and is just rediscovering them lol.
