Weird ableton/hardware syncing (tr-707)

Post by societyloser1 » Mon Aug 26, 2013 4:09 pm

Don't really know what the issue is, but it's not that cool...
I did manage to sync my tr-707 with ableton... So if i start ableton the 707 is synced with ableton's clock. If I pause ableton and I start again (at the first bar) the 707 will also start again at step 1... But if I start ableton at let's say the 9 bar, the tr 707 starts playing from the last step he stopped.

Any idea how I can change this? If i stop/start ableton it would be pretty awesome if the 707 always started back from step 1!

Did you try the manual? Usually that's where I have to go for MIDI issues like this. I've got about 33% of a thought on how I'd try to fix this on pieces of hardware I've owned but it's just not coming to me because I haven't dealt with it in so long.
