This event is a very special occasion for our label - Paradise Lost is turning 5! To celebrate, we've brought together a slew of sick selektahs who will ensure there will be plenty of great tunes new and old, rewinds, drops and shenanigans for everyone involved.
We've invited Vesicle from Finland who've recently released their "Inconvenient Truth EP" with us on 12" vinyl to great acclaim. They will bless us with a liveset of impromptu reworkings of their inimitable sound, chock-full with dub-style effects and real-time tweaking and twiddling of knobs and buttons.
Bisweed from Estonia will join us for a very special DJ set of only his own productions past and future. He will also be showcasing his incredible work for our next, soon-forthcoming vinyl EP, the "Tsar Bomba EP", which will be out in just a few weeks.
Label founders The SubDivision will present us with an explosive look into the musical past of Paradise Lost as well as a glimpse into the label's future, you won't want to miss this special P.L. anthology set!
Joining this international frenzy will be German label representatives TKR from Jena, whose "Future Unknown EP" expanded the Paradise Lost repertoire with genre/tempo experimentation in form of the brilliant 170bpm title tune and its stunning Royalston Remix, and Berlin resident ILL_K, whose recent and riveting "Warrior EP" absolutely cleaned house for everyone who bothered taking notice.
Also present will be Rakoon - Dutty Dubz from Offenbach and The Next from Hamburg, both of whom will be featured on our upcoming releases, and local support will be provided by Mr.Boogie and behind-the-scenes Paradise Lost curator / A&R Rob Robotic.
Keeping in the birthday spirit of things, all night long we will be giving away 12" vinyls of our past releases and download code vouchers for our forthcoming Best Of Paradise Lost compilation to our most enthusiastic guests!! We'll also be selling vinyl and shirts and about 30 limited edition, hand numbered screen printed 24" X 36" movie-style posters designed by Jaakko Kärnä at this event which are simply stunning (and of course, very dark!)
And if that's not enough, Room 2 will be manned by the fabulous AUDIOMASSIVE CREW from Berlin, bringing you exciting sounds / new and old in Drum'n'Bass and related musical influences. Along for the ride are MO, FALLOUT BOY and BAD MATTER, so buckle up and get ready for an unforgettable night of bass, beats and birthday shenanigans!
