Where can I find Dubstep in Brighton?

Post by 1 bad dj » Tue Apr 11, 2006 2:01 pm

I assumed Pressure Point, Concorde 2 + the Volks - but can only find old dates or mainly Grime - can't get into grime at all, but Dubstep definately.

Yeah, I've seen a couple of Brighton nights go by, one with Vex'd etc, another with more Grime MCs.
Might make the effort for these...

One thing's been puzzling me though - how do people actually dance to dubstep?
I read some time ago that it's more a case of shuffling around and looking down at the floor.

Interesting... when I go out dancing it's normally to lively Afro-Jazz, Deep Funk or Drum & Bass.

I look forward to the experience.

Is it?.... Anti War Dub?

I remember being at this Scand party about two years ago and someone dropped Toasty's Knowledge.. It wasn't a dubstep room but as soon as it dropped it was like everyone turned into zombies, doing a zombie dance..
It was amazing.. i had to stop dancing just to watch it, the hairs on the back of my neck where just upright.. i knew then that this sound was going places...
