[SOLVED] automap messing up my plugins...help?

ok so recently automap has totally fucked my plugins. i opened the automap version of them which i usually dont but iv been trying to make use of my novation remote 25sl. anyways, so soon after that all the plugins i selected the automap version now no longer work. ontop of that logic 9 and 10 both have this problem and both scan every audio unit every single start up, super annoying. also i read online to open automap and go under preferences and select use logic 9 64 bit audio units, i was assuming this would get rid of the 32 bit and help me since im all 64, but now after selecting that massive and all my other plugins now dont work anymore!!!

now i just looked at my components in my HD -> library -> audio -> plugins etc and found all my plugins. then for shits and giggles i looked under user -> lyons -> library -> etc etc and the only component that is in there is the automap plugin. im thinking maybe automap is supposed to be in the normal plugin location located on the system drive not the user?

any help here? it will be greatly appreciated because now i cant use like all of my plugins...

dude everything was fine then it all went to shit. i googled it and found one other user with the same problem but no solution. so gay....

Sorry about you bad luck here. Imo automap blows balls, so many problems. I have avoided novation controllers since my one and only bad experience.

Sorry no solution I could offer other than reinstalling, also might have to research on files u may have to manually delete.

You think uninstalling automap and deleting my plugin cache files would fix it?

I accidentally installed Automap with my new Launchpad S, I need to get rid of it tbh since I don't actually use it but it seems to interfere and crash sometimes when loading my FL projects.

i solved the issue. i did it by uninstalling automap, then deleting my plugin cache. then i rebooted logic and some plugins still failed, so i had to reinstall those plugins, delete my cache again and reboot and now they all work

what a mess.

Automap is god awful. Depending the piece of gear, there's other custom software. Honestly i just use the standard ableton integration of my gear.

Is there any way to have mappings for each plugin that work as I open them like automap did? I love the idea of automap but the buggy execution makes it useless.
