'Throaty' Type Lead

Post by itsHAZED » Fri Sep 20, 2013 8:01 pm

So, I want to be able to recreate this 'throaty' type lead used in this drop so that I can modify it more towards my style. I can't seem to get anything like it. Any suggestions?

Thats defiantly a vocal chop of some kind layered with a staccato saw type pluck. Those kinds of sounds you can't really recreate, but it shows how important sampling and layering is.
Like try putting random vocals in a sampler and playing them like an instrument

Yeah! I usually sample vocals but it's just such a tight sample. I'll mess around with it. :)
