Okay so I just lucked out and made out like a bandit. I traded my Galaxy S4 for an iPhone 5 AND a MPK49!!!

Now my question is, should I sell the MPK49 and keep my Novation Remove 25SL and Korg Padkontrol. Or sell those and keep the MPK49? I'm using Logic Pro X btw.

What's the catch? Does the iphone even work?

yeah the thing is perfect. there is no catch, the kid really wanted a galaxy s4 and mine was band new practically like his iphone and came with a 64gb sd card ontop of the 32gb internal. and the kid didnt make music, i think he got the mpk as a present and didnt know what it was worth...

he was a real nice kid, he came and met me at my house and then we went down to verizon together and sorted our phones out. im souped!

now, opinions? keep the mpk49 im thinking and sell the remote SL and padkontrol?

My roommate has the MPK49 and it seems like complete overkill unless you're seriously utilizing all of the knobs/pads. Then again I've got a maschine sitting in my closet and rest donuts on my Axiom pads/knobs. So as someone who isn't too hands on my opinion might be a little bias . You could probably get good money for the MPK49 and what you currently have seems like plenty, I'd just sell it

^ the only reason why im considering keeping the mpk49 is because id rather have that then 2 pieces. i could also sell my novation and padkontrol yanno?

How mint do you mean by mint? Unopened box mint? Dose it come with everything in box as new if not?

I'd give both a fair trial and decide which one suits you best.

I tried the Novation a while back and found the AutoMap software to be terrible. Does the MPK have equivalent mapping software? It might be better.

They go for £250 new. I have £150 in my account right now I can give you for it.

mint meaning in excellent condition. opened but never really used. the kid said it sat in his room since last christmas. it comes with the cable, but not the software, however that can be downloaded right off the akai website.

and im in the US, i would probably take the equivalent of 150 quid which would be around $225 i think, but we'd have to see how much the shipping costs and what not.

ok. im in class right now and have a break in between so i wont be on my laptop. but i have another class in a couple hours so i will check it out then

I still can't decide if I should keep the mpk49 and sell my remote sl and padkontrol or the opposite. Does anyone have any experience with the mpk fat pads do they make the mpk pads sensitive like the padkontrol?
