LFO Tool - Note Retrig in Ableton
Basically I want to use my kick drum to trigger LFO Tool so that I can sidechain my basses. I've checked the manual for midi routing and I've messed around with the I/O section but I can't get it to pick up my kick signal as a MIDI note so it can retrigger the lfo - can someone give me a dummies guide on how to set this up?
Re: LFO Tool - Note Retrig in Ableton
What you have to do is add whatever instrument you're using to an instrument rack, and put an external instrument in the rack and tell it "MIDI to: LFO Tool". Ableton may be amazing and powerful, but it does have some minor flaws that annoy the shit out of me.
