Noisy Lead (Common in Trap)

The sound used in the drop at 1:55, how would I go about making something close to that?

Saws, LPF, lots o' reverb. a lot of that sound's timbre comes from the notes/chords it's using IMO.

Also I think that sound is so common because it was in a trap vengeance pack or something. Most of the people who use it probably sampled it, so you could try that. Whenever you hear those leads in trap or big room, like the ones in that "epic mashleg" thing, where they only use a few or even a single note, it's likely that it's one of those "synth hits" from the vengeance packs.

Yeah I feel that. It's a pretty cheap way to go about it if you ask me. I would just open up sylenth or massive. Get a couple saws going with multiple voices. Detune. Route them to a lowpass. Give them a nice amount of reverb. And for that specific "tone" in that trap song, I would experiment with some minor chords.

No problem dude. I listened to the sound again. On second thought, it sounds like it might have a detuned square in there as well. Try combinations of squares with saws. Definitely lots of voices and detuning. If you're still looking for something that is, as you put it, "noisier," you could even add a noise oscillator in there at a low volume. Experiment.

why work hard to make cheap music?
you want a bait soud so id just sample it like every other clone.
