Variation in Bass Deep Dub

Post by eliash » Sat Oct 12, 2013 5:37 pm

Hey everyone :)
So I've been working on a track recently https://soundcloud.com/hydroliks/deep-dubstep-clip
I then started working on the drop, but it kinda feels like the bass sounds the same all the time.

I've just gotten into resampling recently, so it opens so much more possibilites.
I guess I could either.

- Work on the massive patch, send it out to the same low-mid-high channel and change the effects slighty
- Have the low-mid-high already bounced as one and mess with the sound a bit
- Keep the same patch, but play with the effects.

These are the things I do mostly, but have been very succesfull.

Any tips from you DubHeads out there? :w:
Thanks

If i have say a main growl or something i use in a tune i will usually bounce it put it into a sampler then add envelopes on new parameters to give it a different movement to the original sound? Just a suggestion :p
