Hey guys, i'm on the prowl for a new interface and as many other i can't seem to decide on one. I've been looking at both the Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 and the Focusrite Forte, however please suggest any more that would be suited. My budget is £400 max. I run a shit ton off plugins in my D.A.W, don't do much tracking and recording through, and don't need many ins & outs. However quality and latency is important to me, i need an interface that can handle being battered. I've heard the Forte has 'class changing' audio quality both in mic pre's and converters. But the Pro 40 is only £50ish more and you get a lot more features on it.
My question is, would i notice a different in audio quality monitoring out off the forte compared to the pro 40, or/and even the Motu 828 MKII witch i'm currently using?
Cheers in advance!

Re: Audio Interface Suggestions/Debate.
From what I remember, asynchronous converters are the best because they make the DAW work to their capacity so it doesn't get overrun. Just a little thing on top of what you're looking at to compare for
