Very few artists can claim responsibility for the shaping of a genre. DJ Youngstar is one of these. Known by the masses for creating what is considered to be the first ever grime track - 'PULSE X', his productions have withstood a test of time, still receiving plays a decade on from their creation.

Also responsible for the production of 'Stand Up Tall', by Dizzee Rascal, alongside grime classics such as 'The Formula', 'Bongo' and 'Dimension X', Youngstar has a catalgoue of releases that no other Grime DJ can contend with.

This is his debut show in Bournemouth.

TRENDS

In the past year Trends has firmly established himself as a pioneer of grime's future sound and direction. Production has seen him release on labels such as DJ Spooky's 'Ghost House Records', whilst receiving airtime on Rinse FM and support from Kahn & Neek / DJ Slimzee / & many more.
