Computer Speaker Recommendations
Looking for a pair of plug and go computer speakers. Not gonna be used for production so I don't want some flat response type deal. Around the $100 would be awesome. And yeah dont post monitors, I know what they are and that's not what I'm looking for

Re: Computer Speaker Recommendations
Do creative still make surround systems?
They always used to be excellent bang for the buck.

Re: Computer Speaker Recommendations
-Get a decent 5.1 system. You can get pretty good ones ( I have bought mine for 150 2 years ago). They are great also since they come with a sub and if you dont have a monitor sub its great to switch from monitors and see how it rumbles on a system with a sub.
-For 5.1's go for anything by lg // genius above $100 (ofc read some reviews about the targeted one before buying, its the internet era research takes like 5 mins and you will see if its worth the money or not.
//off (i have not bought a single electronic piece of gear for like 3 years without researching and i never went the wrong way so far) it is really embarassing that ppl use internet for reading 9gag, but researching does not come to their mind ... really sad

I have a 2.1 from them. Tiny little desktop speakers that pack a lot of punch.
Waaaaay too bass heavy of course but yeah.

I have the Logitech X230 model. I've had it for few years now. Only paid like £60 for it from PC World.

Dude, used a pair of jbl's, they were to me astonishingly good. But they really seem to have eaten it. Like they just distort, but not in a blown kind of way. Can't say, but when they were bangin, they were bangin.

Used to have an old pair of big JBL's as well, powered by a Marantz.nowaysj wrote:Dude, used a pair of jbl's, they were to me astonishingly good. But they really seem to have eaten it. Like they just distort, but not in a blown kind of way. Can't say, but when they were bangin, they were bangin.
Both started going bad, but I think I'll get the amp repaired and ditch the speakers.

I know you're all on the edge of your seats to know what I went. So I ended up ordering creative 2.0 speakers

Re: Computer Speaker Recommendations
Fine, it's not really for bass music only so the bass wasn't hugely important to me
