Hey man,
Good start on the track, I love some of the sounds you've got in this one.

Maybe add some chords in the breakdown to compliment the melody you have in there, you can then have that form into a nice build, gain some tension, prior to the drop.

The drop sounds really cool, I think they can both be played out a bit longer though and maybe change it up after 8 or 16 bars, maybe take out the mid range and just have sub and highs, or incorporate the melody.

Keep up the good work, I hope you post the finished version up here for us all :W:

thanks a lot for the feedback, I increased the synth verse a few more bars around the second time around and think it sounds a lot better.I also added in a new piano melody to change the beat up, with a little bit of glitchy drums to add a new vibe so that the song doesn't feel redundant. I have to say though coming up with a melody that fits a piano and the synth verse is excruciatingly difficult for me for some reason.... maybe I need to find some motivation.

for the change up i added in another grand piano roll at 1/8 with a lead synth panning in around 1/16 but it doesn't seem to be catching well with me.
