Post by Michael - Cableguys » Fri Dec 20, 2013 1:34 pm

Cableguys FilterShaper released with a special 2-day intro offer!
FilterShaper 3

It features 2 filters combined with crazy modulation capabilities, including 60 LFOs, 50 envelope followers and even LFO amount and LFO speed modulation. LFOs can be MIDI-triggered, beat-synced or free-running, from very slow up to the audible range.

It is perfect for multiple tasks, like
advanced, multi-band sidechain compression,
filter sweeps and filter drops,
chopping beats or trance-gating synths,
and countless filter, volume or pan modulations effects!

This looks great, just as a general filtering plugin.
With the sidechaining thing, could you trigger filters with tracks eg a bandpass filter everytime a kick hits? Can you do that several times in the same instance of the plugin (one filter is triggered by hihat and one by kick), how does that work (logic user)?
Just curious, absolutely getting this.

You can draw any rhythm you want - you could use one filter with a rhythm for the kick, and the second filter with a different rhythm for the hi-hat.

You can also trigger the LFOs/rhythms via MIDI notes - but if you set up MIDI triggering, it will take the same note for the whole plugin instance.

We'll release FilterShaper 3 pretty soon. But before, some sound examples by Irion Da Ronin:

Let me know if you like them!

If you get FilterShaper 2 now, before FilterShaper 3 is released, you'll save 20 EUR/USD..

Give us the option to have more points! It ran out when I tried it.

More points mean a bit more CPU usage.. so that's why we chose 40 points as a compromise. What you can do, is layering LFOs to get more complex modulations.
