Echos Of Age - Antarctica [Deep/Minimal]
Yo, anybody that knows this username on the forums or recognises me probably knows me as "Absent Closure". Decided to start a side alias kinda thing for my deep stuff. Not gonna lie I'm getting bored of the emotionless "brostep" shite I was putting out before. I feel a lot more comfortable and happy making stuff like this as I can express how I feel through my music, what's going on in my head, environment, etc etc. Hope you like it. C&C is welcome as this is the feedback forum. Thanks in advance people. Big up.
Sorry tune is down for maintenance. Will only post when I'm sure from now on.

Arrangement is too weak

Shit I should probably throw a bunch of camelcrushers on the master right?

EDIT: Would you care to expand on your statement? You obviously missed the joke in my last post btw too. FYI feedback is usually more than one sentence that essentially says "I don't like it".

I'd agree with the comment re; the arrangement. Some nice sounds in here, but how the tune is put together is predictable. Intro, beats, beats with bass, break, then the tune repeats itself.
The second half of the tune especially feeling like a copy of the first half...maybe switch up the programming a little so it's not quite so loopy feeling, or else bring in some new elements to help carry the interest of the listener for the rest of the tune.

Not sure what you mean by this either, TBHRezzo wrote:Shit I should probably throw a bunch of camelcrushers on the master right?

Thanks for the constructive reply mate. I was fearing this, I'm generally really bad at arrangement without knowing what to improve on. Also my second halfs are generally copied over in my tracks as I am scared to edit for fear of ballsing it up and basically going out of key etc etc. I appreciate the reply. I will take a look on the forum at arrangement tips etc.wub wrote:I'd agree with the comment re; the arrangement. Some nice sounds in here, but how the tune is put together is predictable. My statement is not in my attitude to your track.Rezzo wrote:Rofl

I said that arrangement is bad. Why?
Because of it predictablity.
Very simple progression, nothing sudden, nothing original. Monotonnicaly and boring.
You must work with on this.

Tip: listen to different artists in that genre and learn methods and tricks.
Good luck, dude.

Alright that's better. Thanks, I'm gonna definitely revise this track. I guess I'm too used to the cookie cutter style arrangement of "Brostep". Gotta try and break the mould. Cheers.poquepoque wrote:My statement is not in my attitude to your track.Rezzo wrote:Rofl
