Specific machine gun bass (Rekoil)

Post by Omniclad » Sun Mar 02, 2014 3:23 pm

Soundcloud

at 1:22

I can tell the sound is layered with something in the high end, that has a slight melody to it, versus the stagnant sound behind it (the 'actual' machine gun part).
Any idea how to make the really rough machine part backing the whole sound?

at 3:12

Same sound, used faster, less high layering. (might help you hear the sound I want better)

Any help would be much appreciated.
