Is launchpad mini too small?

Post by Donaldbeebi » Wed Mar 12, 2014 10:58 am

Hello, I recently bought a launchpad mini, well so far, I don't see any problem with the size of the launchpad mini, I don't know if it is because of the track being simple enough( seamless bass antics intro + small part of the drop). do professionals use mini version? is it too small? what do you guys think?

Forgive me for stating the obvious, but surely whether you find it comfortable to use or not should be the only thing that really matters here?

No, since I just bought it, I am still not quite good at it, I'm not sure if it will be difficult to perform harder song in the future with small pads, though I feel comfortable with it so far, not sure in the future...

Cross that bridge when you come to it.

Your time would be better spent learning how to use it most effectively right now, rather than worrying about whether it's going to be too small in the future or if professionals use it.

^^^^Bingo, just enjoy your sweet ass piece of gear. I used to worry about whether or not the gear I had was good enough, and always kept telling myself I needed that next piece of gear to make the music I really want to make. But that's not true. I sound like I belong in GA, gearaholics anonymous.
