To usher in a new era of activity for the label we have the Archangel touching down with a mighty dose of dub-centric offerings by way of his “Phase Shift” EP. Over four tracks, the mastermind behind Celestial Conspiracy who is most known for unparalleled ragga jungle anthems, the Archangel traverses a deep and lush landscape of pulsating basslines, intelligent and murky vocal sampling, top notch percussion work, and ethereal atmospheres & melody. Firmly rooted in dub mentality, there is some meandering in traditional dub, dubstep, trip hop, drag/witchouse, and the like.
A forward thinking returning to the roots take on what it was that set off Bludclot Recordings when we first blasted off 3 and a half years ago, “Phase Shift” is the ideal EP to set it off once more for the label.
