Looking to pay for mix/master walkthrough.
I'm getting pretty frustrated with being stuck at like 80% of the way to where I want my sound quality to be for the past year. I've hit a brick wall, and tried pretty much everything I can think of.
I will straight-up pay someone via paypal to screen share a mix and master via Skype from the ground up, and maybe they could send me the stems so I can do it in my DAW as well. I want to see every little thing done from point A to B.
Lemme hear some tunes if you're interested and I'll let you know if I'm enough of a fan to want to move forward. Maybe we could even collab in the future, who knows.
(I mostly want to work with a "busy" mix such as a brostep tune, but a mid-range heavy deep tune is something I'd consider).
Thanks in advance.

Re: Looking to pay for mix/master walkthrough.
no need to pay for mixing lessons, considering most old threads here contain vast amounts of knowledge. just go through them and practice, eventually it will come together.
Re: Looking to pay for mix/master walkthrough.
Is the reason your song in your sig has no bass because of the quality or because that's how it actually sounds
Re: Looking to pay for mix/master walkthrough.
To be honest, I highly doubt having someone walk you through mixing and "mastering" one song is really going to teach you as much as you think. The principles behind mixing are actually pretty easy, its more about experience, training your ear, knowing which to reach for and WHY, and learning your monitors. That last little push you are looking for will come from handing your tunes over to someone else with an experienced ear.

+ practice and a good monitoring setup with treated room
that's gonna be your best bet.
As far as training your ears http://www.moultonlabs.com/full/product01 iirc it's like an 8 cd series which is well worth it.

Read the fabled 'money shot thread' and take note of everything that 'macc' says in that thread.
