LXTC - Latitude (Chill/Filth)

Post by LXTC » Thu Apr 24, 2014 4:45 pm

I've lost the stems for this. If I want to still edit it, do I have to treat it like a bootleg and transform it completely?

ahh yes the chill/filth paradox. I would remove the 'take this out' sample which I think is a preset from fruity loops. the hi-hat sounds like a preset too. maybe layer a few other hi-hat sounds with it. Maybe relax with the wobbles in parts. good start though.

I agree with wehlfest, though it sounds like there are many presets used. Also, every instrument and the drums have what sound like the same eq levels which give it a very bland sound, like everything is coming from one channel and battling for attention. Arrangement is a good start but more variety would be nice as even the change ups and builds leave me wanting something exciting to happen.
