High Bodies - CLASH (140 TRVP/Massive Bass)

We need extremely critical evaluations below. Please rip us a new one, we need literal advice to get better.
Thank you
EDIT: We made a lot of edits thanks to the great feedback we are getting from everyone. Check out this new version with a very modified percussion line, some added variation in the synths, a few new transitions and some work on the second build. Thanks again!

Its okay but theres room for improvement. First thing that jumps out at me is all your highend synthesis have too long of a release. They try to have a sharp "pop" to them but the release and small room reverb (guessing) takes away from it. Especially on the change up after 1:49. The drum fill at 2:19 doesn't do it for me either, I think simplifying it there before going back to the main trap melody would flow better.
Its a great start, it just sounds like everything is dragged out a little too much with release/fade. You already have a pad in there, let the high frequency synths do their thing

I like the part from 55 seconds to 1:22. I get lost in the rest of it. Layer some other sound with the snare, it sounds like a preset and gets lost in the mix.
Overall try some variation with the drums, that's the most boring part and could easily be fixed.

Thank you wehlfest that was some good constructive criticism. we'll post whatever we come up with
Re: High Bodies - CLASH (140 TRVP/Massive Bass)
That was an interesting track, kudos on originality. The reverb / delay on your second verse was too dense, it gets annoying because it blankets everything else. I dig the work at 55s...I like how the phaser yo yos with the rhythm. I would consider changing the synth a little more in the second half of the first verse to change things up and create more interest. It sounds like you just changed the envelope to a downward swoop and kept the rest of the patch the same. I think overall it could benefit from more energy so changing up the synths would help move the track along a bit better.

We made some of the changes that were suggested here, and modified the percussion line a bit as well. I think it still needs some more variation work as you suggest Banesy, but let us know what you think!

Agree with Banesy, way to go on putting some style into it. The rvb coming in and out on the clap is a little wierd. I feel like it sizzles too much. And the 808 snare comes in a little awkwardly, maybe bring it in a measure earlier or later. It could sound fatter when the beat drops if you put some space before (not complete silence, but just lightening up the overall sound before it drops).
