Tip for mastering brostep/edm/loud as fuck music
When mastering, put a multiband peak compressor and compress the highs as shit, up to 7db gain reduction. Use low ratio, I wouldn't go above 2:1. Set the attack to ~20-40ms to let the transients go through. It makes the track feel SOLID.

Amateurs, everyone knows you just bitcrush it till it shows -1db rms on the scale and the analyser says the frequencies are flat...

On a serious note: check how a limiter/multiband comp is going to affect your mix periodically, for example how they'll affect the transients of your drums, makes a difference if you start smashing the shit of your mix.

always when i make a tune, i add this effect rack in the master channel with a multiband dynamics, compressor and limiter. makes the tune sound decent. the point is not to make as loud as possible, just as close to a "real" tune as possible, load it up to serato and compare da waveforms.
