Released: 3/3/2014

Only just realised that I managed to forget about DSF when promoting this back in Feb/March. Had a good response from this when it dropped, if anyone hasn't heard it yet leave us a comment with your opinions!

Another debut here for these two, check their soundclouds:

Soundcloud

"Following the success of our first release back in July (a top five hit in the Juno Deep Dubstep charts) we're kicking off 2014 with a new introduction – long time friends and production duo Eese & Aztek.

Despite being newcomers to the scene it's clear that the pair have a strong grasp on what it is they want to create and have realised it with brilliance on this release, introducing us all to the signature Eese & Aztek sound.

The title track 'Gonna Be' opens the EP issuing a serious statement of intent. The eerie pads and synth plucks set a chilling air of tension before the haunting vocal signals what's about to be unleashed. Deep basses and haunting delays are the name of the game on this one, a true stomper – essential dancefloor ammunition for any set.

'Episode 13' sets into motion on an equally dark tip. Laden with twisted bass lines reminiscent of early DMZ (read Coki) productions, the track carries the kind of lazy energy capable of sending a whole room into a head spun frenzy. An unmistakably tough submission from the duo.

The intro of 'Gyatso' signals the beginning of the end for this journey. Resonant bass tones carry the track as it weaves it's way through the listeners mind, pausing at select moments to give brief respite from a sub so heavy it has a suffocating effect on it's test subjects. Laid back rhythmic patterns lend to the meditative nature of this production, nod your head or stomp your legs, the choice is yours."

The EP is available to buy from all major download stores and also directly from the Instigate Recordings bandcamp page.
