The group has been created and has taken off. So far we have around 25 guys with 15+ of them being active and typically there are people talking in the channel 24 hours a day with an exception of a 1-2 hour silence where I'm sure everyone's just in their DAW modulating shit.
The group has appointed "moderators" (who are really there to add people who want to join the group) as well as to keep the environment friendly, spam free and focused on making dope ass beats/sounds.

I will say up front that this group is not meant for people who do not yet know what an LFO is, how to make a basic wobble bass, etc. You definitely don't have to be Getter to be added but you should have a fundamental understanding of the basic concepts of sound design. There are many resources online that you can familiarize yourself with and then we will gladly add you to the group.
The group is intended to advance people, there are all ranges of skilled people from people like me who are average to people who are "pretty good." As long as you can make some cool shit you're fine.
It should also be noted that we share and exchange patches. This is not a group for leeches. If you take patches, be expected to give patches back. Life in general is a two way street, someone helps you, you help them back, that's how she goes. People caught taking far more than they give or who don't ever offer will simply be removed from the community as this type of attitude is not what we want to see in our community.
Aside from the above, the chat is extremely laid back. It's a bunch of people who love EDM talking sound design, discussing WIPs, new artists, etc.
