Education is crucial to the festival. This workshop at the new Dubspot LA school features the UK’s top dub producers demonstrating classic dub mixing techniques on analog mixers & effects, applying these techniques to reggae as well as other music styles. Sherwood has been as much a pioneer in dub reggae as in electronic music and punk. Mad Professor has dubbed everyone from Massive Attack to Bob Marley.

Festival founder & Dubspot instructor Emch from Subatomic Sound will moderate, demonstrate the SubPac tactile bass device, & interview special guest Jeremy Sole, DJ, producer, & KCRW radio host, on dub in LA.
