Height of DJ monitor (speakers)

I have a pair of AVI ADM9 active monitors and my DJ desk set up. I will put the speakers on either side of the desk. The ADM9s are 30cm in height - I have a choice of two different speaker stands to put them on; 90cm or 125cm.

The 90cm would bring the base of the monitors to the height the turntables sit.
The 125cm would bring the monitors near ear height.

Which of the two heights would you people recommend going for?

Lower or just ear height?

Ear height, baring in mind that at some clubs this unfortunately isn't necessarily what you will be getting!

Honestly, I would rather place them in a way what sounds good for the room. Most monitoring in clubs will be either just a PA speaker pointed at the vague area of the DJ or about 7ft+ in the and pointed at a 45 degree angle towards the center point of the decks.

I know you asked between which ear level / decks level, in that situation it'll always be ear level.
