On my third listen, potentially album/mixtape of the year for me. Starting off with trim was a surprise but a good choice, then a load of instrumental and some more vocal tracks near the end. Very good track placement imo.
I think trims the best mc so love the first tune. 2nd one with trusta sounded like some dark night slugs bit, love it. The treble clef is one of my favourite tunes off the mixtape, maybe my favourite.. Atmospheric grime at its best. Zomby played a mad set last month when I saw him and I wouldn't be surprised if Golden Eye got dropped. Tune with mr Mitch was probably the tune I was most excited to hear, first 30-40 seconds were a bit disappointing.. Then that sub comes in. Wheel!
The Emma dd and prince rapid tunes give the mixtape a nice balance of different vocals, I'm not really a fan of pure instrumental albums/mixtapes so these gave it a nice mixture.
Big up, 9.5/10 only cause I don't give anything 10/10. Will be rinsing this for some time, really shows grime doesn't have to be one dimensional and great grime albums are possible.

got the cassette a few days ago and i really like it. was expecting it to be mixed, but that way you can even use the tunes in your own sets.

this is fucking sick! Vocal Harca is amazing, a stripped back trim vocal sounds awesome and goldeneye is quality! This won't be leaving the phone for a long time i think

All that melts away when the lights are down and the bass is up.
