Help with bass sounds

Trying to make stuff more on the "deeper" end of the spectrum rather than the dentist drill stuff that seems to be prevalent on here, no offence if that's your thing, it just isn't mine. I mean producers like Mikael, Kahn, LAS, Karma, Quest, Commodo etc. In particular this track https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tJe_IdTj810 How much of it is modulated on the LFO ? Any good tutorials for this sort of sound ?

Also interested in that sort of bouncy, almost percussive sound Kahn and Commodo are using like in the less distorted sections here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QCuewQNuBeM

How much do you reckon the percussion makes a difference to the "feel" of the bass ?
