Mid bass ala Night Hunter

Hey, I've been trying to figure out for a long time how to figure out basses like the one in Fis-T - Night Hunter and Untold - Peaky. Anyone have any ideas?

those are sick tunes but I honestly have no idea how those basses are made. i love the phasing of the lfo in the second one in and out of tempo with the track... both are mesmerizing to listen to in a way

i remember reading that the bass for night hunter was a preset on like reason or something with an lfo on it haha

Yeah, I've read that it was FL Sytrus actually. I just use a Mac with ableton so have no idea. I've actually gotten close to the sound using Omnisphere (have been trying non stop this week since setting up new studio in my spare room with good results). I think the gist of it is a combination of interesting waveforms (wavetables but without TOO much movement in them), waveshaping & using unison so you get that crazy flanging effect.
