"Is your red the same as my red" (4 the SNH science crew)

Post by bennyfroobs » Wed Aug 13, 2014 12:07 pm

personally other than obvious physical differences, such as lens shape or varying quantities of the different individual colour receptors in peoples' eyes, i dnt think there is a huge difference in how people itenrpret colour.

swap colour interpretation for sound interpretation for example, how would humans be able to communicate with each other in a consistent manner? sounds totally ridiculous to me

opinions on this?

because u hate the website or because u got banhammered?

and colourblindness comes under the physical differences factor, right?

I was in school with a kid who was severely color blind.
He told me that based on his understanding of the color green, cream colored walls were green to him.
Now that's messed up.

His videos are designed for people who don't have a background in science to actually learn some science. Also pretty sure he's not American tbf.

EDIT - Just looked it up and he is American.
Lives in the UK as far as I know though.
