Herbal, Shoreditch - Thursday 20th March-Scuba, Chef, Nerm +

Post by funky pundit » Sun Apr 16, 2006 12:13 pm

Scuba (Hotflush)
EarthTribe (http://www.earthtribe.co.uk/)
DJ Chef (Rinse FM)
Nerm (Desi-DNA, BBC2)

This is the start of something new in terms of dubstep branching out and enveloping other genres/sounds - with this particular night we bring the Indian/Asian fusion scene together with dubstep, something we believe could be quite an interesting and fruitful relationship. This is monthly on a Thursday for the timebeing until we move it to two rooms on the Friday, so FWD>> hardcore crew, have no fear, we're just kicking it off like this. Expect in the future to see reggae artists, fusion artists from around the world and the dubstep crew!!!

Oh its a bluey to get in, and runs till 2am.

Downstairs:

RocksteadyThu, 20th April 06
April sees Rocksteady teaming up with the highly respected Eden Collective for some midweek breaks madness. Eden Collective has been rocking the dance floors at the Ministry of Sound with their monthly residency. Tonight they are celebrating the launch of their new digital label - Eden Collective founders Cool Uncle & Bones will be showcasing the kind of funky percussive breaks they will be putting out on Eden Productions, including their first release 'Tomorrow is Another Day' by Essence. The night will be hosted by Rocksteady’s very own Khan, who will be spinning his blend of deep and uplifting Breakbeat plus the night’s residents, ex Shades of Rhythm, The Drumattic Twins.
