Recording computer screen
I've managed to do it before with Camtasia or whatever, but it didn't record audio, no idea why, it just kept coming up with an error (My soundcard doesn't communicate properly, i think there might be an inbuilt on in my motherboard i need to sort out.)
Can you reconmend something (for free)?

But it does tend to crash after a long recording for me, does that happen to any of you?

Depends on what's long for you
I recorded 1h or 1,5h sometimes and didn't have any crashes, but obviously I can't talk for longer recordings. Maybe just split them up after 30mins if it really happens regularly for you...

Re: Recording computer screen
I know this a long thread, but I found a way to doing this. Recording both microphone audio and your DAW audio into Camtasia. Here you go, I written a post about the set up process: http://www.audiomentor.com/audioproduct ... -with-asio
