Recording computer screen

Post by JamesHanvey » Mon Sep 15, 2014 5:17 pm

I've managed to do it before with Camtasia or whatever, but it didn't record audio, no idea why, it just kept coming up with an error (My soundcard doesn't communicate properly, i think there might be an inbuilt on in my motherboard i need to sort out.)

Can you reconmend something (for free)?

Depends on what's long for you :D I recorded 1h or 1,5h sometimes and didn't have any crashes, but obviously I can't talk for longer recordings. Maybe just split them up after 30mins if it really happens regularly for you...

I know this a long thread, but I found a way to doing this. Recording both microphone audio and your DAW audio into Camtasia. Here you go, I written a post about the set up process: http://www.audiomentor.com/audioproduct ... -with-asio
