Headphones

I need two pairs of headphones, one for my ipod and one for my decks. What in ear headphones have you found the best for dubstep, and what headphones do you use to dj, because mine broke yesturday

anyway any information would be useful

My girlfriend bought me a pair of these for my birthday, and they were the best present ever! Real nice and crisp with heavy bass to boot. When i'm on the tube now i can't here anything but tunes. Be careful when crossing roads though as you really can't hear anything else, not even a bus heading straight for you beeping it's horn! They've honsetly brought the music back to my ears though and i can hear bits in tunes i didn't even know where there.

Those Shure plugs are nice, I use Sennheiser HD25SP headphones for mixing.

Others I think that are sick ... sennheiser hd25, sennheiser HD580 or some in the Pioneer range.

Bass is wicked mate. Because of the sound isolating fit, it fully rumbles your ears. You can really feel it down to the lowest rumbles

i heard skullcandy were good but then some reviews saidthey were rubbish? any one got a pair?
pdomino safe for that but i was aiming to only spend around £50

or do you reckon i need to spend more?

skullcandy are poo imo.

I would go senheiser or AKG, suss out their ranges and see what fits your budget and needs i guess. I use the senheisser HD280s, i like em, and the bass response is enough but you might be looking for something different.. so go chek em out !

ps: if you got the cash get senheisser HD-25's for DJ purposes

hd25sp's are about 60/70 quid these days I think.

are they well made though cos they are the comfiest headphones ive used just heard about them breaking easy cant be bothered to spend that much money and they break, main reason those sennheisers look like the best is cos you can just replace the parts

highly recommend the senheisser hd25, havent got any complaints at all

and for in-ear monitors i wish i had enough money for the elacin T2s, they just look stupidly good. altough from what ive heard they ruin music as music heard through anything else is just dissapointing

i recently reviewed the Shure Se110 earphones and they were darn good. Better fit than the e2c's and better sound imo too. Bout £70 and i think they're out end of this month - mayeb earlier.

for Dj phones the HD25's are good, but if you want a circumaural pair then the Senn HD280 Pro's are sturdy and block out loads more noise than the HD25s.
