Best filter for detune Basses? (Neuro)
Hey guys ive been making detune bass syth patches and I was wondering if the brand of the filter you use on the bass makes a difference since I tend to use abeltons auto filter for filtering.

What do you mean by brand?
HP, LP, bandpass , etc?
If so then the filter type makes a huge difference to the overall sound.
If you mean the actual company making the filter then that also makes a difference.
Uhe for example have very lush, warm filters, fab filter as well.

yeah Ableton's auto filter will get the job done but it's not exactly the world's best filter that's for sure. Download the demo for some other popular filters and EQs and see if you like how they sound, everyone has their favorite EQ or filter plugin and you'll just have to see for yourself whether it makes enough of a difference. In my opinion, I think it does.
