The TUBA Free release series continues with a track from Cuttle, who, fresh off his debut 12” dropping on Grand Ancestor, continues to explore the darker sounds of dub. All the while, his output still bears the marks of music that is well suited for a deep dubstep set.
Chapter Dub is built on a true dub bass line with gritty, edgy, live sounding drums. Cuttle develops the track musically, introducing melodies and chords that complete the statement. Chapter Dub is thick with vibe, emanating from twisted, down-pitched samples and ever present effects.
