For all your dubstep and grime desires, it is allll about...

Rooted Records, 9 Gloucester Road (0117 9074372)

Gloucester Road is pretty much the place for everything, PK has loads of house, general 'dance' and drum and bass, Prime Cuts is really good for a bit of everything, Plastic Wax if you want to dig about for some oldies. All on Gloucester Road.

Replay on Park Street is also really good for techno, minimal techno, electro/minimal/click house etc.

Theres also chemical records way off on the other side of the train station, never been personally but they have a monstrous stock of dnb, breaks, grime and increasingly dubstep.

Rooted is also good for dnb and jungle, and a variety of other things (reggae, dub, funk, 'downbeat', breaks, breakcore, all sorts)

All the stores ive mentioned stock considerably more than ive said, but ive focused on what i reckon theyre each best for

Yes, I've already been in Bristol and know some of the shops there - but that was back in 2002. So I don't want to miss "The" Dubstep shop.

Thanks for the info anyway.
