Ha, wait till you get to the Fourier stuff in chapter 3... Doesn't feel quite so basic.

But yes, definitely recommend reading this from start to finish. Lots of interactive Java app things to play with too, so there's a practical element to it.

And it's free university grade education, without the tests or fees.
