Well, how'd it go? I couldn't make it, so I'm counting on you all making me regret not being there :-P

The opener played lots of exclusives.

Joe Nice DESTROYED the night. I went nuts to The Klaxons Refix (go nu rave!).

Vex'd was so heavy the sub choked me up.

Shout outs to Chu, Black Plague, SA Gel, NEPA crew, and the purple wearing crew.

What an amazing night.

* kidding about nu rave, but that track did make me go insane.

jamie and roly played the best set from them i've seen yet. it was abrasive and dirt as well as being big and soundscape'ish.

they played a complete mix of stuff from the early singles like lion and pop pop to stuff from degenerate, as well as brand new upcoming things.

standouts for me
vex'd "louder" -blatantly one of the heaviest new tunes coming from them. disgusting
vex'd "shoulder lean " refix - sick!

the highlight was the skeng-louder-twitchydroidleg blend.- the whole place just went off.

when joe nice dropped klaxons it was one of the few times i've seen the whole dancefloor at love jumping the air.

That's exactly the tune. And -- it was right after Alicia.

I can't even begin to explain how amazing last night was. The tunes. The beats. The creativity of all the artists, djs and mcs. Unreal. The "STAMINA CREW" or as I like to say the "GATORADE GANG" was in full effect last night/this morning.

The sing along -- thank you all. Who would have ever thought that a room full of people would have been humming the horn parts to Blue Note? The breaking into song during Cays Crays? I'm not even gonna discuss the Careless Whisper extravaganza. I guarantee that song is in a few of your heads right now and it's not leaving anytime soon.

Thanks to everyone that soldiers it up. All the time.

The lineup -- everyone crushed it. EVERYONE.

Vex'D -- that live set was groundbreaking. Jamie and Roly turned Love into a 2 man dubstep orchestra. They're the future that has no past. Brilliant stuff.

Dhruva and Sharmaji -- you guys are brothers in dubstep and music in general. Anytime you want to play Dubwar, you're in. There were too many tunes that i didnt know about and even more tunes that i need in my bag !!!

Juakali - on fire. What else can be said? "YA GOTTA COME TO DUBWAR !!!"
I AM NOT OK !

Dave Q -- tagteam partner extraordinare. You dropping Alicia. Me dropping Cays Crays. Match made in heaven. I was not expecting that Mobb Deep tune at 6am. GENIUS !

Back to bed....

I left at around 3:30. Had too much to drink

Funny I thought you were coming in from Cali. And don't worry, you have good moves

What was that track before Not Over Yet? That was just pure intense sub, no wobbling at all with enough sounds on top to let you beat match the next track. It was just great hearing the Klaxons synths come in on that sub line.
