Rewire.
I've read this tutorial (helpful)
http://www.propellerheads.se/news/tutor ... =cubase4_0
And when I got Mix L + R playing through Cubase I can instantly hear how much superior the sound quality in Cube is.
I usually use 2 mixers (seperate each redrum chan into its individual mixer chan, or sample drum hits in NN19 individually) and have alot of modules running through reason.
I've never used a sequencer like Cubase before and have been using only reason for about 18months. So i'm lost. A friend who produces alot of music professionaly (GO COP HIS EP LOL) is coming round next sunday to show me a couple tricks on cubase. But I want to get goin now still.
So - I've channeled each of my reason synths/samplers/redrum's etc into the hardware interface channels. Then i've bought up the Rewire controller in Cubase and activated all the channels. What next? How does this sequencer work? Do I need to draw in Midi tracks and then record? How do I do this? Anyone have an indepth tutorial or able 2 give me a step by step guide?
I'm excited about using this 2 master. Cos reason 4 is tuff, but the sound quality sounded so much better in Cubase. Plus my man just send me this waves sound pack which looks very very very big.
I used the search function, and the only relevant thread I saw was someone asking about a Logic 8 problem. Sorry if I missed anything...
