The mysterious user487363530 has uploaded a clutch of tracks purporting to be early demos from Aphex Twin.

As ever, we approach Aphex antics with caution and an arched eyebrow, but signs point to this one being legitimate, with several reliable sources (including Planet Mu’s Mike Paradinas) stating that they’re the real deal.

The uploader, user487363530, has left just one comment on Soundcloud – on Aphex Twin’s ‘Diskhat ALL Prepared1mixed [snr2mix]‘. The comment states: “Would like to know the full setup for this track, brilliant music man. I love your early 90′s stuff so much, I was doing stuff in the early 90’s, similar to you but I didn’t know about you when I did it ! Im also 43 years old :) I’m going to be uploading it to soundcloud soon, gotta dust off the old DAT’s & cassettes!”

Strangely enough, Aphex Twin replied, writing “beautiful stuff, would love to hear more”.

Any other day of the year we might be inclined to brush it off as the usual AFX nerdery, but – in case you weren’t aware – the prankster’s got a new record out today, and seems to be in the midst of a frenzy of uploading and releasing.

Check out a the supposed early demos below (for as long as they last). For more Aphex mysteries, have a look our guide to the facts and fictions of his mythology.

I think its either a diss to Richard or a big up to our forum(its really vice versa :) ) , but all the tunes on that soundcloud profile sound like are part of Tuna!

Interesting...

I been in stalker mode, and been checking his comment on soundcloud. He also posted on this track https://soundcloud.com/kidcloudkicker/k ... -stalemate saying it was a cutie, but then delete the comment, though the reply to it is still there, with a futher comment from aphex twin. Though I don't think that is Aphex Twin.

I ain't checked this user487363530 tracks out, but think it could just be a random. Aphex Twin has been responding to the odd random on soundcloud. So don't think it's him, but have to listen, and read more first...

Unless we are all Aphex Twin.

Die antwoord is all Dj Hitek though anyway.
Go a take a listen to Seven Ark.

Jutin De nobriga is his real name.

The reason I bring this up though is related to the Seven Ark sound.
Interesting even though it was not your point, lots of similarities to Aphex.
