Could somebody tell me how to lay different samples across the octaves in one instance of Kontakt, at the moment I'm opening a new instance for each sample because I haven't managed to figure it out yet. Nice oone.

oh not sitting in front of it, but its easy...
theres something like mapping editor or similar...
and you just drag and drop the samples on the piano...

Thats it, its all about the mapping editor. Click the button, and you will see a grid with a piano at the bottom. Simply drag your sounds onto a key. You can spread the sound across several keys or octaves by dragging the sides out.

right click on the keys for a particular sample and select "add to new group" if you want to apply a unique envelope to it.
