Kontakt/FL: The volume levels.

Hello all, simple question maybe:

When I add new channels on Kontakt the volume of the previous channel resets to -6db or default. Say I tweek the levels to preference, and once i change screens or add a new instrument all the channels go back to the default volume. Does anyone know why this is and how I can avoid it or change it? Thanks

what version of kontakt is it?

you using it as a plugin or standalone?

if you use it as a plugin it needs to be re-started (in cubase at least) if you add new channels. i tend to have it set up to have 10 stereo and 10 mono as a default so they're already there when i open it. try doing that... either that or its a glitch. in cubase SL theres a bug that causes cc1 (continous controller 1) to do the same thing to kontakt2 if you use an automation track.

It is Kontakt2 and I use it as a vst and use the multiple midi channels. I guess I will try to save it and close it. It just becomes a hassle when you're trying to add multiple channels like drums and they keep getting softer in volume on their own.
