Track ID? From a J Da Flex mix circa 2004.

I've been looking for an ID on this track forever. I got a mix CD from J Da Flex back in 2004 when he was doing his Underground Knowledge show on BBC One Xtra and really pushing the early dubstep sounds as well as breakstep & grime back before Mary Anne Hobbs had her famous show on Radio 1 proper. The producer does this strange panned bassline thing that I've never heard before and I've never heard this track anywhere else.
This style isn't dubstep per say, but it was part of the dark garage sound that was going on in dubsteps infancy before half-step dominated. I really liked this dark breakstep sound because producers were going crazy with amens and breaks. People like Darqwan, Search & Destroy, Markone, Toasty Boy, Daluq, etc...

Mark of the Beast is a percy too, such a big tune!

All that melts away when the lights are down and the bass is up.

Hey thanks a lot. I've been a big Search & Destroy fan for the longest and have several of their earliest records (Freaky was my ringtone for at least a year back then and I made the original discogs submission), but I just missed this track. Youtube didn't exist in 2004 to just look up tracks from people. You just had the audio samples for the stuff that was in stock on the record store websites and this shit was not well known what-so-ever.
Kinda funny that I also asked J Da Flex about it and he commented on the track with a completely wrong name. Haha. Massive respect to that guy though.
I normally just associated the name "Breakstep" with earlier garagy type stuff like the Bingo Beats sound. The stuff in that mix that came later was always something different to me because it sounds so different than something like Go DJ or Sounds Of The Future, though I guess it fits. I used to call the later stuff UK Breaks at the time because I didn't think it really had an official name. Was a great time to be into the sounds because so many people were doing different crazy things and everyone just vibed on all of it together.
Thanks again.
Here's a dropbox link to the J Da Flex mix that I clipped this from if you're interested.

I'm not sure where you even heard it. I can't find a sample to listen to anywhere on youtube or google.

Ah. It's the 3rd track in that sample. They only play like 32 beats. I'd rip the whole thing but all my vinyl is at my parents place a few hours away.
